September 2009 Registration Information

Registration for SS. Philip and James School for September 2009 will take place the week of February 2, 2009.

  • Please call the school office (610-363-6530 x100) any time after 9:00am on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 to make an appointment to register your child. Please do NOT leave a message! You must speak directly to Mrs. Davis.

Please acquire all necessary papers before your scheduled appointment time. This registration is for NEW students only.
Re-Registration for current students will take place the week of February 23, 2009.

Registration Requirements for All New Students

  1. Family must be registered in SS. Philip and James Parish prior to registration for school.
  2. Baptism certificate must be presented, if NOT baptized in SS. Philip and James Church.
  3. Child’s birth certificate.
  4. Pennsylvania state law requires that all children be immunized BEFORE BEING ADMITTED TO SCHOOL. You are required to bring the following information with you the day of registration:

    • Copy of student’s Immunization Record
    • Copy of most recent Physical Examination
    • Copy of most recent Dental Exam

      Physical and dental examinations are required of children entering Kindergarten/1st, and children new to the state according to Pennsylvania State Law. Physical examinations are required for children entering Pre-K by WCASD and Archdiocesan policy. Physical exams must include a copy of all completed immunizations. We will accept a copy of a complete physical exam and dental exam done after September 1, 2008. We understand that exams after these dates may not be available at the time of registration. The most recent exam will be accepted at the time of registration. However, a new exam will need to be completed and returned to the Health Office by September 1, 2009.
  5. A fee of $150.00 per child is required at the time of registration. This is a $75.00 non-refundable registration fee and a $75.00 technology fee.)
  6. Students for the 4 year old program must be 4 before September 1, 2009. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old before September 1, 2009.
  7. Child’s Social Security Number.
  8. We only offer a Full day Kindergarten program. Four year old program – Monday through Friday mornings or afternoons.
  9. A student will be registered in SS. Philip and James School ONLY upon completion of requirements 1 through 8.
